Merry Go Down was an original rock band from San Diego. In its active period (1989-2002), Merry Go Down performed at numerous venues in San Diego and Los Angeles: The Casbah, The Belly Up, The Viper Room, The Bacchanal, and a host of others, sharing the stage with groups like Tool and Rage Against the Machine. Few recordings exist, the ones presented here, recorded on a 4-track cassette machine, were captured at their loft in the Pabst Blue Ribbon brewery building in Los Angeles, 2001.
